CHANGES TO WESA PLAYERS COUNCIL

Viktor Jendeby no longer Chairman of WESA Council

NEW YORK CITY (July 05, 2017) – Viktor Jendeby will no longer be part of Fnatic as he has decided to pursue other opportunities with Fragbite, the esports news website. As such, Viktor will also leave WESA’s Players Council as Fnatic’s representative and Council Chairman.

“I have greatly enjoyed and appreciated my time with Fnatic and WESA, but have decided that now is the time for me to pursue new opportunities. I have been impressed with the growth of WESA and its positive impact on the industry. I would love to still stay in WESA and help them progress but it makes more sense to let someone else do my work as I no longer represent a team anymore. I am confident that WESA, along with Fnatic and other WESA members, will continue to move the esports industry forward regardless.”

“We would like to thank Viktor for his work on the Players Council and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” said Ken Hershman, Executive Chairman and Commissioner, WESA. “We continue to focus on ways to strengthen the Players Council and look forward to not only initiating our process for finding a worthy replacement but also using this opportunity to explore ways to enhance the voice of the players within our association.”
